Meet James O. Roberson, Jr., JD, LLM (TAX), CPA, CLU, CHFC   

Mr. Roberson worked in the corporate tax department of the multinational professioanl services firm Ernst & Young LLP in New York City right out of law school. After being admitted to the New York bar and becoming a CPA in New York  1987, he started his own law firm and practiced corporate law and tax.  He later spend a year with Guy Runyon CEO of EAGiL Financial Group LLC, a national corporate and personal  financial planning firm, specializing in estate planning and conducts business in all fifty states.  Subsequently he was CFO for a mortgage company and became bank closing attorney for 10 banks. He subsequently went back into private practice in New York and New Jersey prior to becoming Senior Manager at Walker & Company, CPAs in Washington DC.  He then founded and is Managing Partner of The Roberson Group, PLLC, a Certified Public Accounting firm in Washington, D.C.  The group specializes in providing Tax, Wealth Management and Business Advisory Services to high net worth individuals, corporations, trusts and sovereign governments. 

Mr. Roberson now CEO of The Roberson Law Group PC practices in Maryland where he focuses on all types of tax matters.  Mr. Roberson has developed a reputation for speed, dependability and integrity.  He is devoted to providing exceptional quality and outstanding client service.  He has a strong work ethic, ability to interpret complex regulatory matters and ability to analyze problems and provide creative, practical, legal solutions.
